Born, without being asked, in the second world war in a rural and modest non musical environment. Starting the clarinet when he was 9. He undergoes an academic training that he escapes on time, almost alive, and becomes a free rebel on piano, percussion and sound objects.
Passionately experimenting with improvised music, isolated in Brussels in the early 60s. Filmmaker, a graduate of the section 'Image and Sound' of INSAS. Experience the music at that time called 'concrete', now 'acousmatic'. Follows finally music lessons animated by open minds: Henri Pousseur (musical analysis) and André Souris (link with surrealism). Participates in movies as a sound engineer or in charge of the images. Photo exhibitions. Production of pioneers concerts.
Finally he launched in '76 at the Palais des Beaux Arts an improvised music workshop that later will be structured as the INaudible association in '83. A group whose official reason is the defense and promotion of non-commercial audio and visual expressions based on improvised music. This led us to play and meet with the 'who is who' of improvised music for nearly forty years. He is involved in design and creation of multi-media performance with artists, installations, actors, playwrights, poets, video artists, performers, dancers, etc. Guy is also a member of the Quartet Memento Mari with Pat Lugo, MAL and Christian Vasseur.
